Comments/feedback on 'Magic Soil' substrate

I just bought half a pack of magic soil from one of the LFS near Tiong Bahru sometime last month. Supposed to buy ADA Amazonia but then accidently i bought this magic soil.

Anyone using it so far? I cannot do a comparison since this is the first time i am using this kind of soil that can actually lower your PH, like ADA soil.

Initially i measured the PH was around 5, after a week of setup. After almost a month now, i measured yerterday again and it was around 6.5, which is good i suppose.

Anyone any comment on the soil?

I've never seen it. Do the granules crush easily in your fingers when soaked?

No, It won't crush easily, |Squee|. And yes it's best for crs or any shrimp lovers!

I just do a major lanscaping today with magic soil in my 2ft CRS tank. It is good and has low level of ammonia. Good for crs keeping!

When i did my landscaping last month, the water was perfectly clear after i poured in the water, i thought i would end up like others complaining about the cloudy water or muddy water... Not sure if thats good... But so far so good i would say... My lamp eyes even gave birth to so many babies lamp eyes...
