Hi, I'm planning to use the above mentioned in my new setup.

I would like to find out from everyone out there to find out what are the most popular brands available & used by fellow aquarist.

Reason is that I want to get something that is commonly used so that it is not only affordable but also easy to get the consumables (eg: carbon block). Thanks.
    Cheers,

Sorry for the confusion, guys. I'm referring to the following attached household filter housing & carbon media. Thanks.

    Benjamin,
I am using Amdus brand too. Can't remember the brand of the housing.
    Carbon block is 5 micron.

both my housing and catridges are from AMDUS. They have 0.5 micron carbon, thats what I used. 0.5 micron more expensive though, I thing 3 or 4 times normal.

It is just a piece of equipment to filter water from the tap before entering the tank. No doubt that it can be used either in planted or marine tank.

Hey Richard, where did you bought yours? The hardware shop around my area is selling Atlas Filtri, which is quite expensive & the cartridge is also hard to find. Thanks.h
