i saw a tank of these at polyart today...can't remember what the label was though =\
It is not a cory, but a baby Brochis sp. Most likely splendens.

I think these are normally labelled as "green cory".
Yes. The first time I saw them I also went "Wow! New species!" and then kept wondering how come so cheap for a new species.

Yup. CK Yeo is right. Here's a picture of an even younger specimen.
This juvenile often makes it appearance in the shops for about S$1 and unsuspecting aquarist buys them, not realising that they can potentially grow up to 12 cm, although I have never seen one more than 9 cm. 6 to 8 cm specimens are not uncommon.
