just contacted thio yesterday, he mentioned that he has a shipment of german grade apistos that he's trying to bring in by the end of the month. i think we should have our outing after the new shipment comes in so some of us can leave with 2 bags of newly purchased jewels perhaps?

I agree that we should have our gathering after the fishes are in....give it a day or two for them to settle down and color up

Thio said he isn't sure if he can confirm the german grade apisto shipment by 25th August and they might come in September instead....if that happens do we want to postpone?

i'll be in contact with thio and post here as soon as i get a date from him. last i spoke to him, he thinks he can confirm by this week...but understandably he's been busy with the move and getting back into the groove with his new place, so please be patient

Ang mo kio hub sure will have lots of food chains for dining I believe.

I will like to attend if there's an outing in August.

I went there twice, think no much food in the Hub, the best food still outside the Hub. Some hawker center closed for renovation... and no much interesting shop in the hub too, I still prefer causeway point

But main purpose is to visit the fish shop...
