I think we need one of the pros to ID him.. Might be an A. lineatus
Would this be a male of A. Panchax? Caught him in a recreational lake in Bintan. Has been with me for months. Cleared my tank of its entire population of shrimps within weeks! Thought of getting a female for him, or to give him to someone who may spawn him.

I'd thought he was an A. panchax when we caught him. Did not realise how pretty he was, until I took a photo of him. Was amazed! Would be glad for a positive identification if someone can help.

It is A. panchax indeed. Males can be surprisingly colorful.

Thanks for the confirmation. Well, XnSdVd, if you are still looking for a male for your females, you have found a suitor. A very handsome one too. PM me if you are interested. But collect at my place in Bt Batok, please.
I hate to keep him without a mate. If you prefer not to take him, I will try to buy a female for him.

Actually i've already gotten a male for my females and they've bred quite... successfully. except they ate almost all the young. However i DO have some survivors. So if any of them grow up to be females just.. keep your eyes on the WTS forums![]()
