    hello guys...
    i just got this cute little guy...
    i know he's a bristlenose but what species is he?
    is he still too young to correctly identify?

    If I were a fish, I'd BREED all Day!

    Looks like Ancistrus punctatus to me.

    Certainly seems like Ancistrus punctatus. Also known as Starlight or L182 by others.

    oh... this species grow up to 25 cm. I suppose in captivity it might easily grow to 15 cm, but over quite a period of time. I almost never see the one in my tank. Very shy creature.
