Nice rocks! where did you get them?
I'm back!
Glosso is freakingly hard to maintain once it grows into a thick mat. Usually I just pull everything up and choose some plantlets and restart the lawn all over again. Usually once a month.
Nice rocks, love the texture on them. I believe you made the right choice to switch to HC, glosso for a 2ft tank imho is too big for a really stunning image.
I think it will look beautiful when matured. Do you have enough light for this layout? What will the fauna selection be like?
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
I like your rocks arrangement. Once the foreground covered, will look nice.

they just make the most of everything that comes along their way
When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?
I am using ADA Amazonia.
U are right. Glosso growing rate is extremly fast. And also too big for my setup.![]()
I got it from OTF which located at Pasir Ris farmway.
Thanks! Hope HC can grow well this time!
Thanks! Lighting should be sufficient. Not yet decide on fauna. Any suggestion?
Thanks. Will update you guys in future. Cheers!

I really like your rocks.
Looks very pleasing to my eye.
Cant wait to see the tank covered in HC,will look amazing.
I did like it in glosso though too...
Nice photos too.

the thing with plants and rock is it must be compact enough such that you can't see the soil, that would really bring out the landscape of a grassland.....
Bro, lovely setup you've got there, really pleasing to the eye. Cant wait to see the HC carpet the entire floor.
Don't mind me (a newbie) saying that the left of the tank is rather low level thus leaving a considerable amount of empty space at the top. Would planting Eleocharis Vivipara at eh back help to fill the emptiness on the top left and at the same time not disrupting the colour balance as E. Vivipara is also bright green.
3 cents worth

I have the same problem too. HC just could not grow. I not sure it had anything to do with the planting. How do you plant them. ??
Thanks for your comments!
Yes. I hope it will become as what you descibe!![]()
Thanks for your advise. Will take note of that. Will wait until entire foreground full before adding others plant.
I planted them with small patches. With distance of 1 to 1.5 inch away from each patches.
Hi all,
Update on my HC tank. Any fauna recommendation?
