FYI, the Big riccia is available from Tropica now and its Latin name is confirmed as Pellia endiviaefolia, not Riccia sp. Btw, i am really interested in this plant eventhough some of you mentioned it resembles some vegetables[] .

The boss of Choong Sua at Bkt Timah have some Big Riccia but he refused to sell, btw those are leftover specimen from his fail "experiment".

He quotes the saying from Taiwanese magazine that it require low temparature, but the Tropica.com stated the plant withstand 30C, so i think i better give it a try to prove which statement is true.

I heard that it is available from PetSafari and a local webby but the price is expensive! Anyone know alternative cheaper source?

In fact, i saw them when i visited your place last time, but not very sure whether it is Big Riccia. Btw, Big riccia can grow emerge, so it is possible for them to grow above the water level on your corkbark.

    Chaq,
It sinks but not related to Riccia fluitan.
