For fast growth, I would say twice a day.
But not too much. There are past experience shared which seemed to point to dead due to overfeeding of BBS by some of the experienced breeders.

I have 3 fries and I feed then twice a day. Each time, is 3 squirts of the small pipette tube that you can buy from LFS.

If you want to know where to get the pipette tubes, you can reuse the ones in the Seachem fertiliser bottles too.

I know off-hand that Biotope has one whole box of pipettes. Don't know the price though.

I fed them once a day with almost a tea spoon of BBS.

Thanks valice,wasabi8888,taygu and illumnae for the answer. I managed to suck the fries out from the tank last friday. The reason why i sucked the fries out is because there are other fishes in the tank. For the past 6 months, the couple have actually spawned many times but it never been unsuccessfully

Currently, i got like 20-30 fries in a small container , surprisingly, i can still see some of the babies in the tank now, and are taken care by their mother.

    Regards
    yaya.

all the best with your apisto fry =) my caca fry are now growing well with about 50% survival rate, but that's probably because i removed the mum really early and they had to fend for themselves.

If there is no threat to the fries, both parents and fries should be left together while the fries grow out. Once the fries are old enough to eat on their own and fend themselves, they can be taken out and moved to a grow out tank.

    My 2 cents

i was told to remove the male once the spawning happens (this is essential if you don't have a protective female like my bitaeniata)...then keep it that way for 2 weeks while the female looks after them...then remove the fry and release the male and get ready for your next batch

The above advice I gave is in the situation where both parents are cooperative in taking care of the fries, not eating them.... if either parent poses a threat to the survival of the fries, definitely have to remove without saying

I would not advice excessive feeding because apisto fries tend to literally choke themselves. I have experienced that even 1 cm fries also choke on food when I fed them twice a day. Thats why I only feed them once daily fries and adult alike.

That's why i got to separate the fries and their parent and fortunately i did that Yesterday, i observed that the fries were gone in my tank and the male was chasing at the female constantly. i could also see that the female was badly hurt and looked terrified, its tail was tore abit. The yellowish colour of its body faded away. The male is bullying the female again.

Warning. Snail should never exist in a breeding tank or a tank full of fries!

I have discovered something just now and i'm very regretted. It should be one of the stupidest mistake i have made, and now i have left 10+- fries(was 20+) in the small container.

The mistake is put 3 trumpet snails inside that container in the very beginning. The reason why i put snail is to eat away the dead BBS and i thought they wont eat my fries and also i thought the fries should be clever to escape if the snail approaches. But never did i realise until i witnessed the action of the snail swallowing one of the fries !! damn the snails !
