I suspect that my aro, which was fed on guppies at the farm where I bought, is infected with cammalanus.

Anyone treat this before?

look at the aro's anus
if you see a red worm like thing protruding out from it, euthanise, no cure already
antihelminthics are needed to purge the worm
dimilin was the one used before it was banned
i'm not sure what you can use now, but i think metronizadole works? have to check, it's off my head

I think so too. A friend of mine has gotten some of it and am going to try it tonight. His tank was infected as well when he kept guppies and it did clear the parasite from his tank and fish.
