Looks like these are the artificially enhanced danios... you can be sure the young wont look like that... or hmm.... heard the change is genetic isn't it?

Where do you discover it? One of the fish farms @ Seletar farmway where the owner shared his compound with a Discus breeder?

FYI, Danios aren't characins but cyprinids.

As far as I know, GM (genetically modified) fishes are not approved by AVA to be sold in Singapore.

They are outlawed in the UK, and keeping them in UK aren't legal.

oh.. thanks for the insight.. i had no idea they were genetically processed..
any recommendations what i should be doing next as they are already in my tank?
i actually intend to add in approximately 30 Galaxy to the population of 20 danios that i have.. It's a planted tank though...

Well, from the colours, they look highly suspicious, but can't be really sure that these are GM. Since it is not confirmed, keep them as you would, like any Danios, they would do well with Celestichthys margaritatus. However, never never release them in the wild.
