    Folks, question on home lighting.

I'm using 32W circular flourescent tube at home. Recently, tried to replace one that blew with a new tube. Came on for a while and went out. Replace starter and tube and same result. Suspect it's the ballast. I'm using those heavy coiled ballast.

    1. What is the chance the ballast could be damaged ?
    2. Any recommendation of hardware shop to get e-ballast for 32W at good prices ? Intend to get a few.

    Thks.

The ballast are not easily damaged as it can last quite a long while.Check the starter connector that connects to the fluorescent tube.Check it sits in tight into the 4pins of the FL tube. Any hardware shop would sell this magnetic ballast and should cost at least around $4 plus or more...most common i see is around $5+ .
