i've been thinking about adding some yamato/malayan shrimps into my new tank to help act as cleanup crew and algae eaters if need be. however, i'm also dosing Seachem Flourish Trace into this tank and it contains copper, which i've read is fatal to shrimps. would the amounts of copper in the trace fertilizer be alright with shrimps or am i just going to introduce the shrimp into a deathtrap?

If dosed correctly, they should be alright. You should avoid direct dosing and risk the opportunity of direct contact between the shrimps and concentrated Seachem Flourish Trace. You can mixed it into a container of tank water before pouring it into the tank.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
