Shouldn't this be in the Aquascaping forum?
You made it look like a view amongst the plants at a bottom of a pool. Are there more plants at the back or it's just a background?
My new set up after MIA for 5 years. Nothing fanciful or super. Cheers!!

Altum_lover76,
Is this your IOS tank? I am thinking of using IOS for planted also..![]()

it is actually better as it allows better access to filtration system and surely cheaper also as compared to a canister filter. Also i am trying out this new idea where i am using soil as filter media. Have did it with my vivarium and the result is encouraging. Will post the updates on my 54" tank once i set it up. For IOS setup, you can check out Bryan also in this forum. His 5 ft is using ios and doing well.
Cheers!!![]()
Good to see the tank up and running David. Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Looking good bro! Nice jungle feel. Give it a couple of months to settle.Might need some short plants to fill it up. By the way,I'm going to turn my IOS low tech since I now have another tank to play with.
Stephen, you are welcome to pm me or restart this thread.

Here's teh update. after 15 days, this is now my tank.
What is interesting is that some of the plants suddenly bloom over night. The leaves become VERY big suddenly or the stalks suddenly become VERY long.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
