Hi, I am quite new on moss planting. Today happen to go to That Aquarium at Y618 and bought some moss. They write on the package "fire moss".
Is this same as flame moss? Can I lay then under the wiremesh as fore ground plant? Do they need low temperature? My tank temperature is between 28 -30 C.
    Thanks for help.

I suppose it is flame moss (is the strain of moss curly?) and you can tie it to wiremesh as foreground, but just feel that it might not turn out nice as compare to spiky moss, etc.
Try to further lower your tank temperature if possible (Turn out to be more curly).

When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?

Think you at least need a FAN to keep your tank cool to around 27C.

If the temp goes up too much (weather is hot in Singapore), then you mosses will not do too well and will have low growth and color will go slightly brown. That was what happened to me sometime ago.

To grow a wider range of moss, definitely need to think about a chiller. And with Chiller you can do some other interesting stuff like shrimps.

Well that will be for you upgrades.

If you get a chiller remember not to get a TEM type as it would be not a good investment (good at first look as it is cheaper, but not worth the money).

    All the best
