Not too sure about the lighting, but i think you need to add iron for them to turn red.

    Hi Bro,

Try sae to tackle the BBA, juz a quick fix. you will need to address your nitrate level.

I trying to increase Co2 level to tackle Co2 problem.

I thinking of changing from have 2 foreground plant
    Hemianthus callitrichoides & Utricularia graminifolia
to a single type Utricularia graminifolia only.

Now both plants are growing and mixing up with each other.

A bacteria bloom coupled with a light greenwater situation is my guess. A UV would clear that up coupled with good strong plant growth (more O2 for bacteria). What did you do to spark this issue?

I not too sure. i recent change from 70W MH to 2 x 36W PL light.
Maybe for a few days i on the light during night time without Co2. (after my 10hr photoperiod). I also added half tea spoon of Bacter 100.
Could this be the cause ?
I am now doing 20% water change daily.

You did the frequent water changes before or after the issue? Stopping it for a while with the help of a UV would clear things up. You probably lost quite a bit of bacteria from somethings you did.

I believe it is the change of the lights + the bacter 100.
Bacter 100 will cause bacteria bloom given that it is dormant bacteria in that bottle, similar situation after starting up the tank.

Stop the water change and reduce the lighting to 8 hours due to the change in lights and the plants might still be adjusting to the change.

After a couple of days more, then add in the UV steriliser, to be sure that it is green water.

I will go with reduce lighting hours, maybe also aerate with O2 during off lighting hours. will monitor until this weekend. If still does not go off, will use UV light.

I am wondering if ADA super clear can be added into the water, and will it help it this situation ?

I don't think so leh. Clear Super is activated carbon and adding to the water wouldn't help much.

I manage to clear up the green water and cloudiness after using a UV light filter running for about 2to3 days.

here's an update of my current tank. Wondering if i should do a trimming and if the plants will grow back again by chinese new year....

    Super growth!
Take a picture of the current state first and prepare it for ADA 2008.
Then trim the L.arcuata a little. Now abit "off". Maybe also trim the R.rotundifolia. Then shoot again.
