The plants are growing so dense i can barely see the DW that were initially there!
Just a question, there seems to be a thin layer of what appears to be algae growing on the tips of the protruding DW. Was it deliberate or a by product of your hight lighting experiment?
Your updated tank picture turned out fine. I love it. No worries.
Not sure about you,but somehow i find that the hair algae makes the overall look very natural? It reminds me of the thread someone posted awhile ago stating "creative use of algae". Honestly i'm trying to go for that look as stated in my 2FT revamping thread:http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=39022 but for fear of a massive algae attack!I've seen them in my friend's abused tank where they only grew on tips of rocks and nowhere else hence i thought it was deliberate!Kudos to your plant growth, looks beautiful!
ya its nice if you can control it. usually mine just grow more and more.
I just dose some Azoo algae treater and brush it with toothbrush.![]()

If the algae dont cover any of my plants but just the hardscape, i would probably leave it.
I'm hoping mine will have SOME growing on certain parts?
just wish they didn't bring any of their other algae friends along...
maybe you can dose some liquid fertilizer onto the tip of your driftwood ?
But i rather not have any algae.![]()

A nice tank you have there, very greeny.
Try out on a white background........ but all the galaxy rasbora went into hiding.

Charming! What else can I say![]()
i just realise my right side have an exposed wall, the background didnt cover it enough.
There is also a reflection on my L.arcuata on the right side.![]()

Hi bro, just to say it's gorgeous. A nice clean presentation of a nicely done tank for such small constraints. Nice balance of color and texture, after pruning it gives a bright effect of clear depth and the fully thrive plants especially the U.graminifolia covering the entire foreground at the control height. In my opinion if the hardscape (DW) can be seen from the front angle is much better. Keep it up and keep us update. Cheers.
Thanks. The plants that i use are the following:
Utricularia graminifolia
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Petite'
Vesicularia dubyana 'Christmas'
Bolbitis heudelotii
Rotala sp. ''green''
Rotala rotundifolia
Ludwigia arcuata
Eleocharis parvula
Ya maybe will trim abit of the L.Arcuata so that the branch of driftwood is more visible. The bottom of the driftwood mainly cover with moss and bolbitis.
