    Woah, nice pruning work there.

I can't get my stem plants to turn red.

The plants are growing so dense i can barely see the DW that were initially there!
Just a question, there seems to be a thin layer of what appears to be algae growing on the tips of the protruding DW. Was it deliberate or a by product of your hight lighting experiment?

It is not deliberate. i always have problem with the tips of driftwood.
Maybe its near to the lighting. Initial stages i have BBA on it, now its hair algae.

Not sure about you,but somehow i find that the hair algae makes the overall look very natural? It reminds me of the thread someone posted awhile ago stating "creative use of algae". Honestly i'm trying to go for that look as stated in my 2FT revamping thread:http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=39022 but for fear of a massive algae attack! I've seen them in my friend's abused tank where they only grew on tips of rocks and nowhere else hence i thought it was deliberate!Kudos to your plant growth, looks beautiful!

If the algae dont cover any of my plants but just the hardscape, i would probably leave it.

Hi bro, just to say it's gorgeous. A nice clean presentation of a nicely done tank for such small constraints. Nice balance of color and texture, after pruning it gives a bright effect of clear depth and the fully thrive plants especially the U.graminifolia covering the entire foreground at the control height. In my opinion if the hardscape (DW) can be seen from the front angle is much better. Keep it up and keep us update. Cheers.

Ya maybe will trim abit of the L.Arcuata so that the branch of driftwood is more visible. The bottom of the driftwood mainly cover with moss and bolbitis.
