Hi, I'm currently using Dymax diffuser but having the following problems:

    1) back pressure is too strong & causes gas leakage at all connection points
    2) Bubbles becomes bigger in just a few months.

Could someone please advise a good yet not very expensive type of diffuser? Preferably small in size as I'm planning to use it for my next DIY project.

    Thanks in advance .

    Regards,
    Ben
    Cheers,
    U.K.Lau

Bubbles become bigger is due to clogging. All non-ADA diffusors I tried are like that. Maybe ADA is better? There are some who uses ADA diffusors here, maybe they can tell us more.

My cheapo TW difusser also have the same problem. I believe it is due clogging... I took it out to wash and it is back to normal.

I don't believe ADA don't have the same problem. They could be selling expensive due to its branding... but I don't think they design and make all their products... I am sure they OEM as well.

But could be the ceramic is some sort of "Mount Fuji Mineral" and is clog-proof.

Most of the product now a days is either OEM or ODM but for well known/big company, I'm sure they will put in place process control and test to maintain their quality. There always a reason why it is expensive. Though sometimes the reason may not be appreciate by customer.

Not sure about diffuser though, I'm saying in general.

I understand what you mean as I am in a 'New Product Introduction' job

Usually branded company will perform more testing as their brand is going onto the product. I am just stating my opinions... maybe some forumer here can see the difference. Comsumer is actually paying for the quality testing and brand but it is not always true. Branded company also take OEM products off the shelves and we end up paying more for the brand.
