Thread: Possible to support 2 tanks with just 1 chiller?

    today i saw one fridge.. was thinking that i could used it as a chiller but dont know will it work anot??? i will drill two hole and place in one tank fill it with water and big roll of copper pipe in to the tank as for the tank water to go through it.. do you all think it will work????

    I think getting a chiller is more cost effective than DIY 1 yourself

    Copper pipe? Bad choice if your diy chiller going to be used in shrimp tank.

    Titanium or stainless steel are better choice but $$$.

    Agreed. Materials needed/used are the main concern which likely cost more than buying a China brand chiller like Hailea or Resun.

    Actually, titanium is a very bad conductor of heat. So, I really don't know how those titanium exchangers works...
