how to strengthen my plant?

how to care for this plant? what can i do or add to make the plant stronger?
some leaves of the plant died(turn brown). n some leaves got torn at the tip.



currently in brackish setup with fishes. i only on my FL light from evening till next morn.

You should set your lights on a timer about 10 hours a day. it is ok for your photoperiod to be from night to morning as long as during the day, the tank does not get sunlight or other light. As long as there is light, plants will photosynthesize. When there's light throughout the whole day, plants will be overworked.

Can you also elaborate "brackish"? What plant is that? What lights? Wattage?

If your tank has brackish conditions then most likely the plant isn't liking it unless it's a brackish water plant.

It looks like Narrow leaf java fern from the pic? Can't see properly.

How much salt are you adding to create the brackish environment?
It might be the salt that is making the plants uncomfortable.

brackish= Brackish water (less commonly brack water) is water that is saltier than fresh water, but not as salty as seawater.

plants like fish cannot be strengthend to live and florish in inapropriate conditions.You have to have the correct plants which can adapt or live in these conditions, because of the ph change with the salt. Could a plant that turn yellow then brown is trying to tell us that there isn't enough light? There's a possibility that your plant aren't suited to be in blackish water or that because of your blackish water, not enough light is penetrating to 'feed' your plant.
