Eh. Don't worry too much... most solenods won't fail so easily... especially German made. Even, if it breaks down, the CO2 will be shut off, so no worries about overdose.

May I know how long have you been using the JBJ regulator with the german solenoid? Does it gets hot while using? Thought of getting the JBJ if it last longer than my UP brand. I have changd once for my UP set solenoid after about 9 mths of used. Maybe JBJ one last longer? I think JBJ one are normal industrial solenoid which could be purchase easily. Whereas the one comes with UP is not available and hard to find so far. Thanks.

Ana..been using the CO2 unit for 4 months already..it is still in good condition. What I need to know is actually where to get the solenoid just in case when the time arises I know where to get it lor. From what I can see, the solenoid will become hot like all solenoids do (Orange light to indicate it is 'on'). Can be dismantle as it is trended and mounted between the needle valve and the regulator.

Peter, wah, the soleniod come with the orange light indicator? No bad!!! The one come with UP does not have any indication whether it is ON or OFF. However, one thing good about the 'UP' solenoid is it does not get hot while in operation. But too bad, it is hard to find.

    Peter,

Search the forum... some one posted regarding where to get them before.
