I have 10g fish tank. I had this for about 3months now. I have about 20 shrimps in that tank. 15 cherries and 5 crs... But, few days ago 2 of the crs and 1 cherry died... others looked fine and they growing fine... I really don't have clue what killed it... water quality seems to be ok. Never had these problem. Now I have 3 crs and 2 of them moving fine and active. But, 1 of the crs is moving slow and not very active... if anyone knows any clue could be very helpful...

What have you done in the last 2 weeks? eg. change water, add new plants, new sand, biofilter, etc?

Have you check your water parameters?eg. ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate?

I think 2 of the crs died because I put in 5 yamato shrimps 2weeks ago... (probably stress...) and one cherry died because I got from pet store and when I came home, color of shirmp wasn't good... I moved the crs to this one tank I got few days ago... If my other shrimps die, that means something is wrong with my water...
Some says you can put crs, yamato and cherry shrimps together but, I think it's ok with cherry and crs, cherry and yamato but, not crs and yamato... well any how if anyone else know more ideas please help me...

i guess its not a very good idea to put yamatos and your other shrimps together, as they can grow alot bigger and will cause stress to your shrimps.
i would say yamatos are always on the "hunt" for food, so ample food is a must if you want to keep them together.

I see that small yamato shrimps are ok but, not the big ones. My cherry has egg even though I have yamato shrimps in there... But, I say not with big yamatos with crs, they stress crs out when feeding...
