    Hi all,

Have been trying to catch and remove a fish from my tank for weeks but failed miserably. That damn thing is simply too smart.

Please share with me any trick or experience you have.

    Thanks

    i had the same problem.....improvised.
instead of spending on so called traps i just used those floating holding containers sold in LFS @$17-$20,its abt 8"X 5" & has 5mm holes all around(it has a downwards sliding front door & flip open top flap).I usually use it for intro of a new fish.

stick it in the tank & gently position the sliding door about half way or 3/4 way up(a gentle knock on the plastic & it drops shut).

Always feed only in this box- leaving the front open for a few days until fishes know food always come from there. then whenever the fish u want goes in- tap the front shut(use somethin abt 1m long so u dun have to go near the tank).
    It takes a few tries.

Ta da!!!...caught 2 greedy triggers easy + 1 very very clever damsel a few days later.
