    Hi guys,

Need some information on what sort of frogs other the common ones found in Singapore will be good for a vivarium? Have thoughts of doing a vivarium in the slightly distant future and looking for some solid information to hold that dream in place as motivation. Saw this article on Green Chapter's website http://www.greenchapter.com/article.php?catid=6&id=36

Can these be found in our local LFS? Do I have to seek out special sources for them? Also will I get into any legal trouble? Keen on the golden yellow one in the fifth picture on the left. If they are impossible to get in Singapore, what other alternate frog species can I look into?

I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

The only exotic frog that can be sold (approved by AVA) in lfs is the Green tree frog (Litoria caerulea).

Maybe you can catch your own frogs found locally in S'pore but I don't know if they're legal to keep.
One such interesting frog is the Banded Bullfrog (Kaloula pulchra).

    tsk tsk...sigh...

For some reason the Green Tree Frog looks scary to me and doesn't appeal to me. I have also checked out the Banded Bullfrog pictures and have the same feeling about them too. Think I might have to shelf that project for awhile till I can get some interesting critters for it. Thanks SuD!

You need the right lobang to get exotic stuff in bro. If I remember correctly, the fine is $2k/ speciment if you get caught... quite hefty to deter people from bringing in or owning. Forbidden fruits taste sweeter...
