How many packets of ADA soil do I need?

Hi, I am getting a 4x2x2 tank soon and am thinking of trying ADA soil. Can some owners with 422 with ADA soil tell me roughly how many packets of ADA soil did you use?

i don't know about ada. for my tank which i'm using GEX, i am using 4.5 packs of GEX

How big is the GEX packet? Is it the same as ADA? BTW, what's GEX?

same as ADA big pack. Gex is also from japan.

i use 5 bags of Gex for my 422, but you can get by with 4 bags as well. i got 4 bags first and filled it, looked sufficient, but i just went to get 1 more as insurance haha...

I'm using close to 5 bags of ADA Aquasoil Amazonia 9L + 8L of Powersand Special for my 4x1.5x1.5. 4x3x2 should be 5 bags plus to get the slope steep and nice.

Of the 5 bags, whether ADA or GEX, you can replace one of the bags with powder as the top layer, that would look nice.
