Yup you were right... they were going about their mating dance again last night...
i transfered all the fry to their "Growing up" tank..
you can see their bellies full of BBS...
there's still 2 more babies in the tank with the parents whom i just cant get out.. they always seem to know every possible escape route
If I were a fish, I'd BREED all Day!
Some Sad News to report..
The awesome male has died as of yesterday.
Cause of death : Unknown
no signs or illness.. just sudden death.
Female is doing great.. no all she needs is a new boyfriend
time to pop to the LFS to look for a new male for her.
I doubt i can find one as awesome as the first.
at least his babies are all doing fine..
any pointers on achieving fast growth?
Feed them twice a day instead of oncesome have reported indigestion and deaths with their fry by feeding twice, but i've had no such things happen with my caca fry. Anyhow, caca fries grow fast regardless

would a 2 pm feed and an 8 pm feed be ok?
i'm at work during the day.
should be fine. i usually just feed twice whenever i'm free as long as it's at least a few hours apart...the fish will eat when they're hungryi just made sure to clear away excess food the next day
