    Another way is to look at the flank spot. Usually, the males will have nice rimming of the blue around the black spot, with no blue scales in it. And for females, there will be blue in the black spot.

    This trait can be seen from Robert's pair.

    Unfortunately, all fries was gone after 3rd days. Infact my second spawn which is very recently was also gone after 3rd days. I'm not sure what happen. Maybe acidentally spoke the parent.
