Both tanks are non CO2 but will soon be getting one for my 3ft tank. Currently only 1 puffer in the cube tank. I have 20+ tetras, 5 guppies, 2 bumble bees, 1 Apisto, 2 otos and a couple of red cherry shrimps in the 3footer. Not sure what are the plant names but mostly taiwan moss and spiky moss. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's Java fern at the left back of your 3 footer, but that's all I know.

How do you want to improve your tank? Visually?

Visually you can go two ways:
    1) Wait for the plants to grow
    2) Buy plants to fill up the empty space.

Choice 2) is better because more plants is better in a planted tank. Helps in the fight against algae and establishment of the tank.

Thanks for your advise. I also not sure what plant is that in my 3ft tank. I asked for a low maintenance plant and the lfs sold me this. I should be taking choice 2 but not sure wat plants to get. Was given some APP by a nice fellow forumer whom I bought spiky moss from and planted in my cube. May use that for the 3ft tank as well.

Since you bough your fern from fish shop, don't be discourage if it is melted probably within a month. It is normal because it was grown emerse. For your information most of the plant sell in fish shop was grown emerse, so expect it to melt when you plant it under water. The emerse leaves will melt and grow new submerse leaves.

Bro stephen, Dymax 1ft light can be purchase from NA. Bro Jaws, I saw dymax legs on sale at aquastar that day but it was grey in colour. Hairgrass is best planted in small clumps with about 2-3cm between them. It will encourge them to creep and grow into a nice lawn.

Bro Stephen, I saw the silver Dymax at Seaview just last week. Slightly more than 2 red notes.

http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=32043 for ADA cube "lobang"...forum members get a special discount according to Azmi

if the Eden is for a 1ft cube, you can save some money by buying the Resun cyclone CY-20 instead. it's 200li/hr, but that's sufficient for a 1ft cube (i've been using it in my 1ft cube that you saw), comes with brackets to hang it on the tank, is very silent, has been reliable for me so far and is half the price of the Eden

Is that available at C328 as well? Was thinking of getting the ADA cube from Midori if no other choice.
