I consider heavily planted if more than 50% of the tank volume is a plant. Others may have different opinion though. I do not know whether there is a standard for it
If my whole 4 feet tank has only foreground plants such as hairgrass, is it considered as "heavily planting" ? I am thinking of amano's kind of setup where there is only foreground plants ... very serene.
