Water hardness and plant growth

just a question, will water hardness affect plant growth?

i guess i overdosed my Kh up powder, so my current Kh level after today's water change is 9. which is pretty high

is there any solution to lower the Kh level?

You will likely kill your fish or critters first before it harms any plants.

A simple large water change will bring it down.
