Original Juwel T5 lighting replacement units!!

Good news for Juwel tank user like me who are looking for light upgrade. They have T5 now!! Let me call Sam's pet when are they bringing it in.

I would like to get the Multilux set for Rio400 too! It's really long overdued. The after market options aren't really perfect solution for the covered tanks.

Wah piang.......80 cm light unit + 2 x 28W Day cost $230. The rating for the tube is 28W?? And 59cm. Got to go take a look, got a funny feeling its different from those "standard HO" T5 out there.

Yup, called Camfurt. Supply are here, they qoute me over the phone.

Benny, saw the light unit and tube today, 28W is indeed 590mm instead of the common 24W 550mm and 45w is 895mm instead of the common 39W 850mm. Did not see the 4 footer but i guess its another custom made length for Juwel.

Oops. That would mean that off the shelf replacement tubes will be an issue. Only available from Juwel retailers, which is far and few in between.

And from the rumour mill, Juwel's presence in our market may be under review in the next few years. Hmm....
