Uh... Any pictures, or physical descpritions of the said item?
I received this item from a friend in Singapore. He said it's a filter media (Singapore Invention).
Is this for large filtration systems? It's a bit too big for most cannister filters (over 15 cm in length).
Can someone explain the intended use of this product.
Does it have a brand name?
Thank you.

Call me Brian.
P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
ikan,
I don't think plecofanatics allow direct hotlinking of their images outside of their site. I've uploaded your image into your personal gallery in AQ instead.
This biological filtration media has been in the Singapore market for a while and a lot of Arowana hobbyists like to use it for their sump tank. It's definitely too big for conventional canister filter.
Cheers,
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
i've heard some people refer to it as bacteria house
Benny, thank you for fixing the link.
Thank you everyone, I found some info on arofanatics when I searched using "bacteria house".
I saw this in Aqua Star Yishun. Looks like a big cylinder of ceramic biological media.
I'm back!
It looks like Qian Hu's Nano Taro BBQ roll. I bought 1 pack, broke each piece into 4 and put them at the bottom of my Eheim canister.
Regards,
SC
