congrats on a great pair of fish lots of potential in your male!

don't worry once they start breeding they'll go at it again in future...the female needs experience to learn to be a good mum

Rally, keep the ph lower. The male will grow nicer and feed him with Brine Shrimp or Cyclopeeze to intensify his redness.

Put lots of plants in your tank. Not sure whether the tank has lots of hiding places because you did not show a picture of the whole tank. The female will become very aggressive once she spawns.

Moss is great. Good for hiding and lots of food for the fries. Milk once told me to fill the tank with almost 75% plants. But from experience, it really depends. More is indeed better but visually it may not be as nice and you dont get to see your fishes often.

Different Apistogrammas exhibit different types of behaviour. I know some bros here that just have a DW and java fern and still breed like rabbits. Need to observe whether the female start getting aggressive with the male or vice versa. If that happens, increase hiding places. You dont want your apistogrammas to jump out of the tank while being chased.

Hoe I wish it will spawn like rabbit but the more importantly I must enjo the fish so 75% moss no la. I will keep it at least 75% visible any way the female seem to be ok with her husand haha .. the male also gueardinthe the eggs so I hope that good sign .. wish me luck
