Best form of filtration/flow for large tanks (4ft and above)

Confirmed getting the pro 3e 2078 from NA later. Think I will use 1 inlet with 2 outlets instead of 2 inlet and 2 outlets as the lily pipes selling as a set and I do not want to buy 2 sets and have to sell the outlet seperately. Think the flow should be strong enough for inlet to suck in water from one end and the other outlet lily pipe (beside the inlet) to push water in circular motion back to the inlet.

Got my 2078. Checked the filter and looks more solid than 2028 except the trays seem smaller than expected (maybe just my initial perception). Anyway, the thing that strikes me immediately is the design of the pre-filter. Instead of the blue sponge at the bottom tray in 2028, it is in the top most pre-filter section which makes maintenance easy i.e. just open up and take the blue sponge and prefilter tray to clean instead of all the trays to reach the bottom. Also, the design of the filtration mechanism seem to be better with the internal structure of the parts. Difficult to explain unless you see it yourself.

Read the manual as well and quite excited with the new features it promises such as constant flow, steam, bio, service indicator, service alerts etc. Seem like quite well covered in terms of features.

Anyway, planning to get a replicate ADA lily outflow pipe tomorrow and thinking seriously whether to have 2 inlets or 1 inlet...

I am back after long time. Just an update that since I have started using 2080 some 6 months back, there has been no need for me to carry out any water change (suits me as I am a very lazy chap) but still the water is very clear and only occasional top ups are required for evaporated water. Recently just out of curiosity I opened the filter to check and found it to be in decently good shape. I am sure the filter would have done well for the next 6 months without any maintenance. Though in here I would like to mention that there is not much of bioload in my tank. I have an 2.5 feet jardini with some clown loaches, ghost knifes and similar fish.
