What is a fair price for flame moss?

[joeyttk]

I bought some flame moss to tie to my dw... wanted to know how much do you normally pay for those flame moss ? I estimate the amount to be about half of A4 paper

[yeoyl87]

I bought at $10 bucks. One small tub only. I think more and more people have it now so cheaper a bit.

okie, the shop tie for me on 2 small dw, charge 30.... well... no regrets, but guess must learn to control urge to buy without checking prices next time

price depends on condition of moss.. if a tub of flame moss is dirt cheap like $2 but 90% of it is brownish and full of algae.. i rather buy a 1 tub $10 - $15 for fresh and algae free flame moss.
