    Hi,
planning to do a rockscape project, probably on a 3ft or 4ft tank.. I have currently got a 3ft tank but with 6mm glass thickness all round, quite worried that it may crack under the weight of the water + rocks. Anyone experienced any problems with 3ft 6mm glass tanks leaking before? How thick a tank should I get for a 4ft one? Is 8mm enough?

    Thanks

put cutting board those made from plastic (white color) under the rock. It should distribute the weight. I read on this forum other bri used same way. Just an idea

Tank glass thickness should not be a problem, as long as the rocks are placed firmly. Also the tank itself best place in a cabinet, usually the bottom glass are thicker than the other ones.
