Does dossing K2SO4 bad for shrimps?
I play around with those Chuck's calculator and found that I need to add extra K, so I add K2SO4. After few days of dossing I notice that my shrimps are dieing. So I did 80% water changes and dose without K2SO4, now seems to be stable.
I follow EI dossing and about 30%-40% weekly water change.
Is it possible that too much K bad for shrimps? or SO4 bad for shrips?

OK thanks, let me try dossing K2SO4 again and see what happen.

If more 50% of the NO3 comes from KNO3, you do not need additional K+.

I have lots of plants, low bioload about 30 cherry shrimp in 2ft tank and 3 otos. CO2 turn off 30 minutes before light off.
Plants are healthy, I was just playing around with Chuck's calculater and found out that my K is off the recomended ppm. So I dosse some K2SO4 to see if there is any different in plant grow. So far I can't see any different.

I'm back in dossing K2SO4, 2 weeks now so far no problem. I guess probably something else causing it.

bro, do you have anymore problems dosing K2SO4? I'm thinking of giving it a try to see if it works.
