When will there be 25 letters in the alphabets?
Thanks for the comment. Will update with more picture.
Nice Setup. Quite different from the usual CRS tank. Would love to see more of the photos, especially the closed-up on the CRS.
Cheers
Nice Setup. What is the total cost? Any CO2 for the plants?
Pity about the size of the leaves, they make the tank look smaller than it is. But there is depth because of the fine leaved plants at the background, nice job there.
Thanks. Will do some update on CRS closed-up
The 2.5ft planted tank system cost as below:-
2.5FT ISO Tank: $100
Rena canister filter : $180
CO2 with solenoid regulator: $240
Lighting: $ 60
ADA Amonzonia 2 pack $ 76
Media for filtration (Biohome)$ 119
Chiller(sifiligoi superflite) $450 (Second Hand Previous owner used for 4 month Original should be more then $1000)
This is the basic setup cost around $1225 without misc item such as plant, fertilize, etc.
Yes, I agree with you that the Microsorium Pteropus(Java Fern) leaf is to large should be replace by needle fern instead but cant find 8 month ago so I decide to go ahead with java fern.
nice setup here. But next time when you try to catch the CRs they will also play hide and seek with you![]()
Already did and also very mischievous hide all over the place![]()

to be frank, My initial tank setup for CRs tank also like yours a little dense in plants. After a few months when I am trying to catch the babies for breeding purpose. I was so fedup that I started rescaping my entire tank..![]()
is the chiller necessary for the CRS to survive? cos i'm trying a 1ft tank. not feasible to use chiller.
btw, how many CRS do u have in that tank?
I do some rescape and take full picture of my tank and cabinet. The cabinet, cover, lighting etc. are DIY by myself. Its look like a cabinet but when open the cabinet door its a soild wood stand and under the tank it a chiller. Cheers!
