I am wondering is there a small, good co2 diffuser for my 2ft tank.
I use to have the dennerle flipper diffuser, found it too big for the tank. I need something where I can hide in one corner.

Will be great if you guys can let m e know where to get it as well.

    Thanks.

Try a small home-made one. I've just made one out of 2 film containers. Drill a 5mm diameter hole on the bottom of the containers. Stuff in some sponge on both of them. Then join them together. There you have it. A simple DIY diffuser. Add in your bubbles, one or two per second. And it should diffuse thru the sponge slowly....

A diffuser will do nicely in your tank. Like what Simon recommeded, the ADA diffuser works very well in the sense that the bubbles produced are very fine. Also the unit looks really nice. But bear in mind it's a bit pricy but worth it (my opinion).

The taiwanese type are cheaper but not as good. Quite a lot of CO2 will be wasted. Not to ideal if you're using DIY CO2.

Does the ADA one work with DIY CO2? I always have the feeling that DIY CO2 cannot generate enough pressure for this type of diffusor. Anyone has tried it with DIY CO2?

    Just curious...

Is the co2 atomiser any good. I heard it works pretty decent for a small tank.

Hello Simon, when you say the bubbles are too big, you mean it is a waste of co2? Or it does not dissolve into the water? Or is it aesthetically unpleasant?

    Thanks.

Dear Simon,My JBL diffuser seem like releasing quite big bubbles. Will it be a lot of work to change the outlet of my overflow to connect to a reactor?JBL's co2 tube is different size from other brands. What reactor will you recommend for my 4FT tank?

My taiwanese difusser (which needs more pressure) did work. I'm pretty sure ADA will work too. Did not personally try it myself.
    Cheers!!
