    hi, I have a really small glass tank, I think around 700 x 500. I wanted to start a small shrimp tank with some moss..

    how do I manage the temp for the shrimp ? and lighting for the moss ?

    I think fan will be cause too much evaporation ? and what to use for lights (where to buy LED )?

    LxB = 70cm by 50cm ?

    That is very big already. A big 2ft tank ?

    Or you are talking about those in LFS that I see that is 7cm by 5cm ?

    If it is the former, then it is not a big problem to put in FANs.
    You still have to top up but not as frequent as you think.

    For the latter, I have no experience but I guess the parameters of the tank would be much harder to control.

    In both cases what is the shrimp that you are going to have. Yamato and RCS should be a much easier choice to start. CRS, Bee etc may be a bit harder if you just start. Cost a lot more too

    Sorry can't be 7cmx5xm, because that ver-very small Half A4 is not that small

    Cherry is good. I don't think CRS will doing well on small tank, harder to control the water parameter in small tank

    Get a 1.5 ft x 1ft tank, they are cheap. The shrimps might mutliply so give them space. Use a fan to cool water both good for shrimps and mosses. Lighting 18watts is enough. ADA soil is good its lower PH.
