I'm using a 1.5L canister with Manual Regulator.

What I normally do when the lights go off is I turn off the main valve and leave the manual regulator alone, but even after 4-5 hours after I turn off the regulator, there's still some bubbling going on.

Is this normal or is there something wrong with my tank. I always have to turn off the manual regulator completely to be able to totally shut off the CO2 supply.

I would think that the main valve is leaking.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Errr... I guess so. Suggest you ask them to test the units they exchange for you before leaving the shop.
