    Hi,

I think this is the season for these cute fellas.
Just got myself 3 pieces after almost a 2 year search (but got to admit, I didn't try too hard over the past 2 years).

For those interested, they can be found in Golden Classic Aquarium Blk 822 Tampines St 21.

    Cheers!

Looks like not many people are interested in Synodontis huh?

Any pictures of them? Juveniles? What fishes are you housing them with? Read from PlanetCatfish that it grows up to 270mm SL.

    Some interesting bits:

One of only three Synodontis species (with S. clarias and S. flavitaeniatus) with filaments on both maxillary barbels and mandibular barbels.

Yar, I got this strange attaction towards synos, but think most people just label them as weird fishes.

What I got are juveniles, but the dorsal fins are not quite developed yet or perhaps the filament was damaged, anyway, can't see the nice long filaments on them yet.
Currently housing them in a fibre glass tank with some other synos. Will try to take some pics of them and post it up.

Great, one of my first few fishes were Synodontis, too bad they jumped to their death after growing up to a good size.

    Hi eric,

I like Synodontis too! But never got around to keeping them. Do you have pictures of your recent acquisition to share?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Hi,

Here goes. Sorry for the poorly taken pictures, no skill.

P.S. Dear Mods, thanks for editing the title, I realized the original title would create some misunderstanding shortly after posting.
