    my 2 cents comment:

left and center midground looks abit odd
the wood in the center too squarish, looks kinda like a brick
and the flow from back- to fore- ground has too big a disparity
the height dos not flow down from back- to fore- ground smoothly

What will your focal point be?
Having a row of Tonina makes the scape looks rigid.
Rather, I might want to suggest you bunch them up.
It is okay that the bottom leaves die due to lack of light.
You can easily cover them up with other plants of suitable height like Crypts, B.japonica or E.tenellus.

As a planted tank, looks like you got pretty decent plant growth. When the hairgrass settle in, it will be a nice lush carpet lawn.

As an aquascape, I think it's a bit bare and not much of a 'scene'. You might want to rearrange the background a bit and perhaps add one or two other plant type to make it more interesting. Do have a look at some of the tanks in the gallery for inspiration.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

I agree that the scape does look artificial and rigid, especially with the tonina "wall" and the blocky fissiden wood. perhaps you could bunch up the tonina as vincent mentioned and move the red lotus towards the background, perhaps add 1-2 more lotus plants to get a denser growth...in time it will grow tall with bigger leaves and would look good as a corner plant. the angelfish would love to make the lotus bunch their home/hideout.

I think your tetras are more commonly known as black skirt tetra or black widow tetra... scientifically also known as Gymnocorymbus ternetzi.
They are definitely not black phantom tetra.

If you plan from the 1st picture by growing more plants on the right to form golden ratio, it may have turned out to be a very nice scape. The slightly red plants should remain to give a contrast. Your glosso was doing well in the 1st picture.

The 1st picture indeed have alot of potential with the appropriate hardscape and plant mass...

hi guys, i rescaped my tank yesterday. removing the blocky wood in the middle. heres some pictures.

the hardscape.. all wood tied with Spiky moss and rock slabs.

After removing the wood and tonina "manuas" tank was a bit cloudy.

after planting 2 pots of tape grass as back ground. tank was quite clody.. had to stop 15minutes before i continue.

After placing the hard scape in..
tank was very cloudy.. hard to see though the water.

tank overview after more than 12 hours from the last picture. finally cloudiness settled.

a more close up picture of my wood and rock slabs.

the middle focal wood is taller than my tank... im trying to grow some spiky moss emmersely

US fissiden on mesh.. i went to bleach the us fissiden when i took out them from the blocky wood. guess i dose too much bleach.. bba is killed.. but us fissiden is browning

my Gu Jing, after i dose iron. it is growing new leaves.. but yellow leaves are contracting BBA

in between the woods.. i planted some jap hg.. hope to see a lawn there too soon.

my red tiger lotus plantlets is growing out the 4th leaves

my oto.. possible for them to be a pair?.. they are always swimming and playing together.. wonder if they got do their job in cleaning algae...

thats all for now.. feel free to give me comments!
    thanks!

How about replacing the rock sheets with stones instead?

think i will get more rock slabs to have a nicer and more natural look
