    Hi all,

Though not new to aquascaping, this is a come back for me after almost 7 years of absence.

Tank was given to me by a colleague and rather than leaving it empty, i started a cheap an easy tank. only a month old, with only malaysian shrimps, 4 ottos, and 2 SAE.

water chg = 1/4 per wk.
    h20 temp = 25 deg C
    2x 36 watts 6500K osram pl lights
    lighting time = 8 hrs/ day
    fertilizer = not started yet.
    CO2 supply = 6 bps
    pH value = 6.85

photo. equip used: h / 1dmk2 and 50mm carl zeiss lens, manual priority.

please enjoy, comments and critique most welcomed for newbie like me.

    wk 1 - 2 hrs after planting.

wk 2 - using stone to weight down driftwood.

wk 3 - after prunning and trimming. stone taken away

wk 5 - some floating plants removed.

    cheers!!

bro.. for a 2x1.5x1.5. don't you think you inject too much co2? 6 bps is quite alot..
for my 2x1x1.5.. with the same lighting as yours i only 2bps..

Think the nana mount might look before on the left rather than on the right.
It is now like suddenly something piled there. Also can use it to cover up the legs of the step plants.

Yeah agree with valice on the nana position and cut your stem plants in half and replant the other half at the rear left corner to give a more natural feel when it starts to grow taller.

maybe you may want to add some plants infront of your background stem plants, as i think the stems of your background plants are exposed under the bogwood.
    overall a nice scape

Had a glimpse at the ADA 2007 grand prize winning tank. It is something like that

Add more smaller woods at the left pointing to the same directions and stack your right annubias to the left background and exposing it. This will give a more clear definition of your layout.
