    Firstly, welcome to AquaticQuotient.

Secondly, please avoid using SMS shortforms and spellings when posting.

Thirdly, there are lots of vivarium threads around here, perhaps you might want to look through them for ideas of set ups you can use?

Now, to answer your queries, filtration is to clean the water of waste particles and to assist in the biological fliltration whereby the bacteria converts the harmful ammonia produced as waste from the fauna and the rotting food to the less harmful nitrites and nitrates. But in a vivarium, it might not be necessary due to the amount of water available...

What plants do you intend to use? There are LOTS of plants you can use in a vivarium setup. Will you be using terrestrial plants or emersed aquatic plants? Do you like stemmed plants? Also, the height and size of plant leaves depend on the lighting conditions, fertility of the soil and to a lesser degree, the temperature of the vivarium...

Show us the pictures of the plants you intend to use and the setup that you came up with... It is much easier to help that way then to expect members to post pictures for you...

    Have fun!

i have 49gallon, i want to put a fogger in the terrarium

but then figured i will need to do a high false bottom and fill with water,
then, i figured i may noow need a filter so that the fogger doesn't humidify the tank with possibly soiled water

should i section off a pond using silicon and plexiglass and skip the water filter? is it bad to have all that water under a full false bottom?

i want to keep red eye tree frogs but not sure if i am making a bigger deal than necessary
