    You should start visiting the local shops. Biotope is one which brings in fishes from overseas. C328 at times you can find gems from the farm bred apisto.

    As for commerically bred apisto from Germany, Wilhelm is just one of the more well known breeder there.

    yup that's what i meant when i mentioned german quality apistos. not that they are wild from germany, but the germans do manage to breed out spectacular colouration as compared to what we term as "farm bred" here

    How are the qualities of Apistogrammas from Holland or Czech? These countries are rather prolific in the fish business, so I guess there should be some quality fish from these countries.

    Haven't heard much about big quantity commercial exports from Holland...maybe home bred to support the local hobbyists, yes. Czech quality are pretty decent...can ask Dr. Karel from Czech republic. I think he's with petfrd.com forum.
