Sure the Teco Mirco is a TEM and not using R134 coolant ?

Very expensive for a TEM. For the price might as well get a much bigger "real" chiller.

Anyway that is only my opinion.

Its a TEM not a refrigerant chiller.

used a cl85 b4 on a 2ft tank.. can only pull down 3-4 degrees max

the previous cl85 i gotten, cool my 2' tank like a fan. and it kicks on 24/7, i took it our after 2 days.

no point getting TEM chiller i think, unless tank <1'.

TEM is not for big aquarium, up to effective of 30 litres. Use it on 2 feet tank is like using a saloon car to pull a container instead of using a trailer.

Teco TEM brought the 30L of water from 30 to 22 degrees celsius. All the aquarium glass has condensation, too cold.

I got i unit model MC-778, 3 months ago in a shop at Yishin.( the FIX PRICE shop) it does not come with a pump and thermostat. This model has only ONE Fan unlike the other model that have TWO. I am now using it in my breeding 1n1/2 feet tank.
Controlling it with a Timer in an Air-Con room. During the day. Air-Con not on, the temp. will rise to 27.C on the hottest day. During the night, with Air-Con on, it can easilly drop to 24 C without and problem.

To balance the Temp i.e. with/without Air-Con, i set it to SWITCH ON 1 hour after the Air-Con is turn OFF, and the turn ON time is set to once AIR-Con is OFF.

The Water Pump is turn on for 24hrs. I find this setting to be quite balance and stable as my CRS, Tiger, Green and Bumper shrimps are all swimming around happily and breeding so fast until i have to set-up another tank to prevent over bio loading.

This Dolphin MC-778 so far did on increase in my monthly electrical
