    As long as it indicates 6500K and 36Watts near the connector point area it should be ok.

    PL light is somewhat like 2 tubes joint together.... Are you sure those are PL tubes or just normal FL? Where did you buy them? How do you know they are 6500K and 36Watts..you mean the person sold you the light told you so?

    cool white is 3500~4000K
    daylight is >6000K

    you probably got the former
    try using it, if the plants grow, no diff to them
    it's only that your plants might appear to be a strange colour, is all
    my mv is yellow enough that purple/violet plants look green

    [:0] Oh crap!!! I've telling people to buy cool white!
    Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
    Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
    A woman, without her man, is nothing.
    A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    wahaha, at least now we know eh..
    anyway, the light makes the aquarium have a yellowish look, like more tropical liddat. Kinda cool lar, plants are having a good time bubbling, so, as long as it works.. []

    Look at the numbers on the tube.

    827 = 2700K
    840 = 4000K
    etc.
