Hood

Hi
Does anyone know which lfs sells/customise hood for tanks? I'm looking for a hood to cover my 4ft tank.

My cat has found a favourite spot by sitting on the light when the timer's off. I guess he likes the warmth there.

Appreciate any help here.

B4 getting 1, u have to consider where to put in the DC/AC fan(at least 2 units) to cool down the tank temp when hook is on.

Definitely temp. will raised to at abt/at least 30deg cel with the amount of light in any planted tank.

I was facing this problem until DIYed a DC fan in the hook.

Also more water will evaporate fr the tank when fan is added. therefore, water top-up require pretty often.

hope tis info may help u when buying or customise a hook.

I got mine made by a carpenter. Just draw up the plans for them.

Don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for yours and what's your tank size?

I'm for the idea to custom make but worry about its cost. Does NA do hood?
